Integrated Operations Centre
The Integrated Operations Centre Team works 24/7 looking after the logistical requirements of running an airline which can be challenging at times. As well as managing flight planning, crew control and disruption issues, the IOC are also responsible for customer communication in the event of disruption to our schedule.
The IT team's challenge is to deliver innovative technology solutions to enhance the customer experience, drive commercial opportunities and support ongoing cost reduction in Aer Lingus.
They manage the wide variety of IT systems that help the airline to function on every level. These include network, finance, HR, time management and planning tools as well as ensuring the smooth running of operational hardware and software.
Our Finance team plays a key role in ensuring that we run a profitable business and deliver value for our shareholders. Our busy finance department is responsible for Investor Relations, Revenue and Management accounting; Insurance, Tax & Treasury; Financial Planning & Analysis; Financial systems and Strategic Sourcing.
Working in this department are a wide range of accountants as well as analysts and administrators.
People & Change Department(Human Resources)
Our people and change department manage our human resources, ensuring we recruit, train and retain the people we need to manage and carry out our operations, as well as operating our payroll and staff travel scheme. Working in this department are qualified HR personnel as well as payroll professionals, analysts and administrators.
At the heart of the Airline's business planning is the Commercial Department. With responsibility for route planning, analysing flight capacities, fuel efficiency and pricing, working in commercial requires financial and analytical skills.
Sales and Marketing
The Aer Lingus brand is one of the most iconic Irish brands and our reputation spreads well beyond the Island of Ireland. Our employees are fiercely proud of the brand, and we understand just how important it is for our customers that we live up to our brand promise of Great Care, Great Fare.

Our Sales and Marketing team are responsible for communicating, advertising and promoting our services to customers and agents and also for ensuring that our passengers experience Great Care, Great Fare from the moment they begin to plan their journeys with us.
Customer Contact Centre
When our customers need telephone assistance, our customer contact centre in Dublin is here to help. Working in the contact centre is very rewarding as this is where we help our customers to plan and complete their journeys. Our team in the contact centre have great communication and customer service skills, as well as a good understanding of how our business works so that they can offer our customers quick and effective solutions to their problems.
Legal and Company Secretarial
Led by the Executive Counsel, the Legal and Company Secretarial team guide and advise the CEO and Management on the legal and reputational implications of our decision making. Key responsibilities include contracts, negotiations, dealing with regulatory matters and regulatory bodies and general advice on compliance with governing laws.
Safety is the number one priority in Aer Lingus. The primary responsibility of our Air Safety team is to provide independent support and assistance to the CEO and Senior Management team in monitoring and continually improving the operational safety of the Company.
